FRIG!!! where is my computer. It's been soo long and its still not here... I had originally hoped it would be here Thursday maybe even Wed... now that its Friday and its still not around, im quite upset and very frustrated!

I'm at work... this won't be a full length post or cover any of the million things I have to say bout my trip and new place. I will blow you all away with it but for that I will require my own PC... and its still on the road *not air*.

However once again I do have some interesting new schematics, this time of the workplace... which in itslef is freakin awesome. The building is nothing smaller than MASSIVE. Here are the second floor plans *where i work* keep in mind that there are 3 floors, including a Gym and Games Room on the first.




And to be more detailed this is the desk that I sit at.



My hours are pretty flexible to say the least, they said to me: "As long as your here by 10:00AM and you get your 8 hours in no one cares." Sooo that being said I have to decide if I want to be a morning person again... Until next time *when my computer gets here* see ya.

Soooo, i haven't posted in a while. As you can imagine I've been quite busy. There's been some changes. I actually start work this coming Monday the 27th so that means my flight has been rescheduled *cost me another $170 on top of the original ticket price* and now I'm taking off tomorrow... to be more accurate I'm taking off later tonight.

Because they got such rave reviews last time, here's some more schematics... this time of a plane. I love the purpose of the Fuselage.


I hate mornings so naturally my flight is booked to take off 7:00AM. Takes 5 hours, and puts me back 3 timezones. What does that all come out to? Waking up at 4:00AM and waiting 11 hours till noon.... LONGEST MORNING OF MY LIFE.

I've packed all my stuff into a giant Chest that belonged to my great uncle, I'll post a picture of it later. I got some connections and I'm going to have everything moved to my new place via Fedex. But its going to take 5 days to make the move. Seeing as to how I'm shipping it now, I won't get it until Wed-Thurs next week. I was convinced that ground travel was better because i figured that air pressure from the plane wasn't good for computer parts... but I think my mind was just changed by this:

And so now I will leave this computer and hopefully, will be able to update this blog in the not so distant future... I guess ill try and write stuff down on paper as I'm on the plane or something and at the latest will have my stuff by Thursday next week so keep in touch for updates.

Apartment Update. Turns out my building is also known as Landmark 33 and features its own website.


On the floorplan pic on the site my apartment is labelled as '03' (the corner apartment) and my room will be the one on the right side across from the other two. I'll be on the fifth floor so i should hopefully get a good view. The window should be facing the harbour as the apartment is right off the waterfront.

Seems like i only enjoy posting after stressful exams. So i just wrapped up my Econ102 exam (100 multiple choice) and got in contact with my mom. She let me know that our neighbour can sell us plane tickets to Vancouver and she'll look into it for me tomorrow. That being said my departure date can be pencilled in for either Tuesday 28th, or Wednsday 29th.

I now have to resume cramming for exams as Stats approaches me on thursday... i guess tomorrow!?

I just got back from the vending machine room down at the end of the hall where someone decided it would be a good idea to microwave a tangerine for 10 minutes. *whyyyyy!?!?!!?* All of residence now stinks and my floor was flooded with smoke... the "fruit" is half burned and half melted, but still moving and sizzling... im going to give it another 10 min before i attempt to touch it...

Making progress into finding a place to live. Found a crafty place *probably a condo or suite of some sort* just down the street from my work, litterally less than a 5 minute walk

Sooo... I'm moving to Vancouver for 8 months, and to document it I made a blog! I just promised myslef not to complain so much, Good Luck! If you guys know me, then you'll quickly reailize that I'm editing every post 7 times becuase I'm not happy with it.

So I've finally gotten a start on actually making an effort into moving to BC. Yesterday *while studying for CS245 Final* I managed to find time to run some errands. Heres a status on how things are going:

Things done

• made half an effort to start looking for apartment
• applied for a VISA
• bought checkbook
• finally faxed back acceptance letter for job
• paid parking ticket
• submitted form for Co-op stream modification form
  

Things to do

• actually make a real effort to find an apartment
• figure out how to get my stuff to BC
• buy plane ticket?
• ... ughhh think of rest of things i need to do

Untill then... i feel accomplished knocking off the things i have actually done so far.
